My friend inherited this sword from her father. It is a limited edition made by Wilkinson, for the investiture of Charles, Prince Of Wales in the 1950’s. It is accompanied by two documents certifying its authenticity. There are engravings on both sides of the blade.

It is 41 inches end to end. I can provide photographs.

This is a 1969 Ltd Ed Prince Charles Investiture Sword by Wilkinson Sword Royal Makers. It is a sword to commemorate the Investiture of Prince Charles as the Prince of Wales in 1969. This sword is a copy of a 13th Century Knights sword. The sword is 41 inches long (105cm).

Wilkinson Sword were the makers of swords by Royal Appointment to Queen Elizabeth II and many generations before, also to the nobility and officers of the British Army and many others around the world.
