What does this mean?

Hello Camilla,

Thank you again for your appraisal inquiries with Mearto. As mentioned in a previous appraisal, we are working to properly identify these objects for you. I am very sorry for any delays.

This item appears to be a Incensario seated figure, again, from the Manteño civilization (Ecuador). This object is similar to the last object in that it is more abstract or crude than other known examples. The figure seems to be holding an animal in its lap. This may be a reference to a shaman figure.

As mentioned before, dating the item would require in-person examination. The estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of similar figures in similar dimensions. Please note that dealer or private prices may vary. Further, estimates are contingent on condition and authenticity. Thank you again.
