Sword is about 24-3/4" overall and blade is about 20". Handle is about 2-1/2" at it's widest point. Top of blade is about 0.178 inches thick. On scale sword weights 2 lbs, 6.7 ozs. Magnet does not stick to handle but does stick to blade. No words or markings I can find. Slight give between handle and blade. Handle seems to be attached to the blade via pins.

What does this mean?

Dear Scott,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.

The presented object appears to be a modern falcata or sword made out of steel and brass or bronze. The falcata sword was used by the Iberian tribes and the Greek warriors. This reproduction was made in the 20th century.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 50 to 100 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.

With kind regards,
