What does this mean?

These are two embroidered Chinese images of birds. They look to be handmade. There is slight discoloration on one. I have included links below to hammer prices of similar pieces. These range significantly. I think there are many machine-made pieces out there that sell for very low prices and because these seem so widespread, some handmade ones also sell for prices that don't do justice to the amount of work put in. There are also some high prices, and these are related to provenance and sometimes condition, date and skillfulness. There are also differences in materials. Many of these are silk; yours looks more like cotton to me. I would value yours at between $200 and $300, based on other sales. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
