While cleaning out my parents' house, I found a painting signed "Edgar Forkner." The painting is a woodland scene and drab in color. The painting is approx 14w x 18h, unframed and a little ragged along the top.
I found this in a stack of "art" in a closet in my parents' house. It was unframed and pressed between two paint-by-number paintings. I never knew of this painting's existence until my parents died. My parents were from Richmond, Indiana, where Edgar Forkner lived at one time. My grandmother was the famous "Tomato Lady" so I like to think the painting was traded for tomatoes, but I will never know. :)
