Your panel is made in China in modern times. These panels were used in furniture but also as wall panels in 19th and early 20th century and are nowadays sought after. These modern copy's are made to meed demand and because the old one's become very expensive. Its nice and decorative and if you bring it back to an auction house they also make money.
