Dimension of painting 44 cm long by 31 cm high. Carved gilt wooden frame, damaged in one corner. Painting and frame could do with cleaning. There is a label and number on the back of the frame so it was probably exhibited at some time.

It was given to my late partner, John Plampin, as a Christmas present some years ago by Prynne Hutton the late author of 20 years in my shop and Pastures New. I inherited it after his death in 2007. Prior to her ownership I have no knowledge.
