What does this mean?

This is an antique, circa 1900, late Victorian to Edwardian era, hand milled and constructed 7' tall wood wardrobe or armoire with scrolling pediment top, central beveled tall dressing mirror flanked by panels that are topped with hand stipple carved leafy fauna motifs over a single drawer at the bottom. Armoire closets are still popular with decorators and collectors. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.

What is the approximate height of this and please add an image of a close-up of a corner of the drawer and some close-ups of the carved details at the top.

Maxie sledge May 30, 22:03 UTC

It is 7' tall and pics being added.

Thank you for the additional images. Do you know if this can be dissambled in to collapsing pieces. As in the pediment at the top can be taken and the doors and sides removed by sliding their components? Or is it all nailed together?

Maxie sledge May 31, 02:22 UTC

It is nailed together.
