10.5” diameter dinner plate, on the back is a green wreath with a gold ribbon. Inside the wreath is the letter N. Above the wreath are the words “Noritake China. Below the wreath, a Registration mark, “Japan, 5770”. Below that in a gold banner, the word “Glenwood”. Below that, “U.S. Design Pat. Pend.” The front if the plate has pink roses all the way around, with a platinum ring inside the roses, and another at the edge of the plate. Next to the outer platinum ring is a series of a scrolling pattern in light blue and beige.
My mother purchased this set new, I think in the late 1940s.
