What does this mean?

Hello Jean-Claude,

Thank you for your appraisal inquiry with Mearto. The items presented appear to be two serigraphs by Anatole Krasnyansky (Ukraine/California, born 1930). The prints may also be seriolithographs, which are photo-offset lithographs with serigraphy embellishments. An in-person examination may come to a more conclusive determination. The two prints depict street scenes of Prague. They both appear to be signed by the artist. The prints likely came from Park West Galleries, whom brokered many of the artist's editions.

The estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of comparable limited edition and signed serigraph by Krasnyansky. The estimates for the collection of two prints. The estimate is contingent on a full condition report. Please note asking or dealer prices may vary. Thank you and please take care.
