What does this mean?

Dear Linda,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the delay with the apprisal.

The presented object appears to be a patinated bronze statue mounted on a mantle clock with the measurements of 33 3/4 inches height. The bronze was made by the French sculptor and his workshop Hippolyte François MOREAU (1832-1927). It depicts a bust of a young woman holding a flower. The bust was mounted on a simple mantle clock and this whole piece was made in the late 19th century.
Works by this artist were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 600 to 1.400 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.

With kind regards,
Georg
