Such bronze statues were very popular during the late 19th and first half 20th century, often made by unknown artisans. The estimate is based on similar bronze lions on wood base offered or sold at auction recently. "Asking prices" in the trade can be higher and vary. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to it.
