Mary McMahon original painting
The framed painting is on a 16X20 canvas and is signed in the bottom, right of the canvas. Mary McMahon's name also appears of the back of the frame - along with the names of the former owners and a date of Jan. 12, '81. I'm presently unsure whether the date of Jan. 12, 1981 was the original date of purchase or the date of the painting.
This painting was previously owned by Dr. Gerald Garrett and his wife. I purchased the painting from an estate sale on July 21, 2018 that was hosted by A&W Helping Hands Estate Sales.

Thank you for your request. This is a painting made in oil or acrylic paint on canvas, with the measurements 16 x 20 inches. It depicts the entrance to a city or a city gate. The painting is signed with McMahon and on the reverse also a label name the artist Mary McMahon. Sadly there is no artist mentioned in auction record lists or similar databases. The painting is dated with 12.1.81 by the former owner, so this painting was probably made in the late 1970s or at the beginning of the 1980s.
