LOOKS LIKE AN OLD HAND COLORED "PRINT" APPROX 8IN BY 10 IN.
THRIFT SHOP N.Y.
This is a vintage, mid 20th century signed and titled print image of the Magdalen College tower building at Oxford in the England. The medium of the print appears to be either wood block or silkscreen. The colors would have been laid in layers either using a carved wood block or pulled through a screen like a stencil; not hand painted. This is illegibly signed and the print appears to have been pasted down to a backing. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
I LOOK AT IT AGAIN
IT IS NOT PASTED DOWN ON THE BACKING.
THAT WHICH APPEARS TO BE THE BACKING IS ACTUALLY WHAT THE PICTURE WAS DONE ON.
THANKS
Please add a clear, in-focus, close-up image of the signature at the bottom right - not the title.
