What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be an italian hand painted majolica luncheon set, decorated with flowers and foliage, with an impressed "made Italy" mark and hand written " Italy" at the base. Judging from the shape this could have been produced from the 1930s to the 1960s. It might have been produced at the Bitossi factory. The estimate is based on recent auction results. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to it.
