What does this mean?

Hello Wayne,

Thank you for your appraisal inquiry with Mearto. The item presented appears to be woodblock by Hosoda Eishi ((鳥文斎 栄之, Japanese, 1756 – 1829), titled "Beauty in Summer." The print is believed to be from the series titled "Beauties of the Yoshiwara as Six Floral Immortals" (Seirô bijin Rokkasen). Please be aware that these images were reprints throughout the early 20th century and further in-person examination could determine whether this print dates to the artist's lifetime or if it is a reprint. The estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of this work and other comparable woodblock by Eishi from the same series. The estimate is contingent on a full condition report. Please note asking or dealer prices may vary. Thank you and please take care.
