TITLE:
Gent’s, electroplated rose gold and gunmetal grey, divers, water resistant (500 meters), quartz, chronograph wristwatch with day/date function and 32 mm wide two-tone ion plated rose gold and gunmetal coated solid stainless steel bracelet with a fold over safety lock clasp with logo, ‘Subaqua Noma V’ model, ref. 15916, Ronda 5050 movement, made by Invicta watches, Switzerland, circa 2011.
DESCRIPTION:
CASE – 50mm two leaf, electroplated gold steel and stainless steel round case with unidirectional ratcheting gunmetal bezel with raised Arabic numerals at five-minute increments and a helium valve etched “Invicta Subaqua” opposite the screwed down embossed decorated crown. Four black hollow barrels sit at intervals around the bezel along with one semi-circular cut-out filled with luminous Tritnite. The bezel is made of gunmetal grey steel on the outer side and gold ionized steel marked with elongated batons at five minute intervals towards the inside. The two chronograph pushers are both screwed down. The pan shaped polished steel back cover is screwed down with six screws and each has a stainless steel barrel associated with it. The pie-pan shaped back cover is marked, “Invicta Subaqua Best Under Pressure” in the center, while the borders are engraved with, “Patent, Project ABOA, Subaqua Noma V” and “chronograph, Swiss Made, Fusion crystal, Stainless steel, Model 15916, Water Resistant 500Mt”. The watch is nicely integrated with a 32mm wide two-tone rose gold and gunmetal ion-plated solid stainless steel bracelet with a fold over safety lock clasp.
DIAL - A scratch resistant flame fusion crystal overlies this gunmetal grey dial with alternating baton and rondel luminous Tritnite hours, bar shaped minutes/seconds ring with tachymeter track to the inside of the hours. The dial center has subsidiary dials: continuous seconds @ 3, 1/10th-seconds counter @ 6 and 12-hour register enclosing a concentric 30 minute register @9. The day of the week is under the 12 and the date aperture is at the 22/23 minutes markers. The dial is marked, “Invicta, Chronograph, 500 meters” with the company logo at the upper dial center. Broad luminous fan shaped hands and center seconds counterbalanced center seconds chronograph pointer.
MOVEMENT – Powered by the Swiss made Ronda 5050e quartz movement with 13 jewels, 12 ½’’’ lignes Size with functions: hours, minutes seconds, chronograph day and date.
CONDITION:
The case, dial and bracelet are all in excellent condition and the movement, although not seen, is considered original genuine and functional with a new battery.

Eventually, they began to stagnate under the weight of the reputation of previous generations, and their share in the market began to falter. With the introduction of quartz technology during the 1960s the brand began an earnest struggle that nearly killed the line entirely
~1970, The Company was purchased by a United States Invicta Watch Group Americans which they relocated to Florida to become arguably the fastest
~1986, INVICTA was listed as a brand of ONDIX SA.
~1991, The Picard family owned and operated the company until 1991. In 1991 the company was purchased by a United States-based investment company. The corporate headquarters were relocated to Hollywood, Florida, where the company also operates its service call center and repair facilities. Eyal Lalo, a third-generation watchmaker, is the CEO of the company and frequently appears on televised Shop NBC programs.

PRICING:
Although most sellers are currently out of stock on this specific model, I would have to value it in the same price range as similar models made over the past decade and that price at auction has been fairly steady in the $225 range. Because it is currently unavailable I would slightly increase the fair market value of this watch at the current time to $275-$300. The retail price as you see above is somewhat higher.
