What does this mean?

Hi Carly,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Hummel figures were tremendously popular to collectors from the 1960s and rarely bring above $50 at auction; these are of an unusually large size that is rarely seen and warrants an auction estimate of $60-90 each.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

Two vintage Hummel porcelain collectible "Umbrella Girl" and "Umbrella Boy" figurines
models 152A and B, made by W. Goebels, West Germany, bearing the TMK4 mark in use from 1964 and 1972
each approximately 9 inches tall
CONDITION: appear to be in generally good condition.
PROVENANCE: found on the curb
$60-90 each or $120-180 for the pair*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
