I found this rock which I think is more than a rock I think it is a head fossil of a juvenile Diplodocus or a raptor I found it here in Meridian Mississippi. I sent some pictures to Mississippi State University to the Head of the paleontology department and they said that it looked like an iron deposit not a fossil I beg to differ I'm wanting to get a second opinion. I believe that I just took a bad picture and that this thing really is beautiful and its own way and the world deserves to see it.
It weighs about 30 lb and it's about a foot long by 8 inches tall.
I found it in Meridian Mississippi actually 150 yards from the world known famous red hot parking lot tooth of a new ceratopsian dinosaur found in 1992 here in Meridian Mississippi which is a honey hole for raptor and diplocus fossils .
