Based on the photographs and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

A Neoclassical style parcel gilt paint decorated and ormolu mounted table lamp
The Netherlands, early 20th Century
the double-handled footed and covered vase with squared foot depicting a copy of Thomas Gainsborough's portrait of Sarah Siddons, inscribed " Gaines Borough/by Joh. Peters/Amsterdan/Holland", signed "Marie", on a gray ground, with gilt accents, mounted as a lamp.
24 inches high, base 8 by 8 inches
