Gucci Purse
White leather Gucci handbag. It has a gold clasp, two handles, two compartments inside. It is approximately 6 by 9 inches. It includes a white felt purse bag.
My grandmother owned the purse. I don't know when she acquired it but I received it when she died at 103. I suspect it might be from the 50s but I'm not sure.

It is a beautiful Gucci handbag. Such vintage designer accessories are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
The Gucci handbag has a nice and classic design, the white leather appears to be in good condition despite age, however there are some signs of wear on the back where the straps are attached and on the corners of the bag. My guess is that the bag is slightly younger than the 1950s - I think stylewise it is more 1960s-1970s.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online vintage accessories auction, where I believe the Gucci handbag has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the Gucci handbag. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
