On the other side of the serial number tag Gucci should be either embossed or printed, there should not be gold hardware mounted. The Control card should also have included the name Gucci. The gold hardware on the side of the handbag should not have space been the interlocking G's. The finishing of the stictches and the clearity of the material is not quite up to the usual Gucci standard.

I am very sorry for this unfortunate information about your handbag. Auction houses that consign luxury items like Gucci handbags will only accept bags of the highest quality/condition, that can be fully authenticated through a physical examination, and by establishing a clear ownership or provenance chain. Therefore, there is no viable auction (secondary) market for counterfeit bags like the subject work.
