Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a sterling silver flatware set of the Strasbourg pattern manufactured by Gorham from 1897 until 1950 and later. I assume the knife blades were exchanged not long ago. The playfull rocaille scrollwork is a classic and this particular pattern is sought after. The estimate is based on recent auction results of similar sets actually sold at auction. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to it.
