Its 3ft x 1.5ft x1ft approx. Made of oak with clockwork interior. Also has an electrical cable which may have been added at later date.

It is a clocking in machine from the old vulcan locomotive foudry in newton-le-willlows. It has been on the wall in my grandads garage for as long as i can remember. Other than that i know nothing about it.
