Believe to be a Givenchy handbag or purse from the early 60's never used been in mother in law closet. Suede bag .....purse.....2 pockets. Black in colour

The handbag from Givenchy has a lovely design and is very elegant. It is typical of the second half of the 1900s. It appears to have some signs of wear and use which decreases the value on the second hand market. I do not presume that you have the original receipt or dustbag. If you do this will increase the value.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online designer items auction, where I believe the Givenchy handbag has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the Givenchy handbag. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
