What does this mean?

Dear Kirk,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry again.

The presented object appears to be a drawing in watercolor and ink or felt tip pen on paper with measurements of 14 x 22 inches. The drawing depicts the motif of four abstracted faces. A paper label on the reverse side names the artist "Freddy Williams". Neither the style, the quality of the composition nor the handwriting are comparable to authenticated artworks by Frederick Ronald WILLIAMS (1927-1982). Freddy Williams is an often used name in English speaking countries.
Works by this artist were recently not offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided. A fair market estimation would be between 20 to 40 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.

With kind regards,

Dear George:

I got a second opinion on this Fred Williams painting. Is there any way Mearto can make better/higher evaluations when evaluating my art collection in the future? Your estimates are coming in much too low.

London. His work is represented in the permanent collections of the National Gallery of Australia in
Canberra, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and the Tate gallery in London, among other

Dear Kirk,

Thank you for your email and your feedback. I checked your artwork with authentic, signed, and sold artworks by Frederick Ronald WILLIAMS (1927-1982). There are fundamental differences in the motif, the drawing technique, and the style of the brush strokes of watercolor, and also in the quality of the composition.

With kind regards,
