Description
Found in the surf on a beach in Cape May, NJ, it is the size of a small rubber ball, and the width of a quarter.
Provenance
Found in the surf on a beach in Cape May, New Jersey, and I was advised by the State Archaeologists that it is fossilized coral from the Paleozoic era (275-400 millions years old).
