What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a recreation of a poster, using a lithographic or giclee printing technique. This reproduction poster after Jean de Palologue "PAL" (Romanian, 1855-1942) is titled «Fernand Clément & Cie., Levallois-Perret» (1895),
the original measures approx. 148 x 107 cm and sold some twenty years ago for up to 10 000 USD. The reproduction in your clients possession was recreated by Wannabe Affiche, Ltd. New York in the late 20th century. An identical print sold for 50 USD last year at auction. An insurance value would be double the high estimate. I would have loved to state a higher value, but the clearly mentioned authorship and the much smaller dimensions leave no doubt that this is a modern re-edition.

I have added the photo you requested.

Thank you so much. I am trying to figure out whether this is a chromolithograph or an offset print. Can you see little round dots, typical for the offset printing technique?

Klaus, Unfortunately I do not have the poster in my possession and my client is out of town so I am unable to get access to it at this time. There are several more posters of this kind that I will also need to have appraised. Now that I know what to look for I am better prepared to give more information in the future. Is it possible to put this on hold until my client returns? I have other submissions that need attending to. perhaps we could proceed with those while awaiting her return. Thank you. Annie

This makes perfect sense, best

Hello Klaus, I have added another photo of a close up of the tire so that you can see the texture of the ink on the print. I am interested in getting an appraisal for INSURANCE. I have more posters to submit but am waiting for Mads to get back to me on a question I had regarding the estimates given for past items being for auction instead of insurance. There was a misunderstanding or my request for insurance estimates was overlooked when I began this process. Thank you!
