This is a Fabian Perez painting that has been professionally framed. I'm thinking it's an oil on canvas. Canvas measures 30"x24" with frame to edges measuring 35"x29". I don't know too much about art.

You have a great eye Perez is well respected painter of romance and often depicts dancers set against dark backgrounds. I agree with you, this has every appearance of being an oil on canvas painting. His original pieces rarely come up to auction but when they do, $5000USD-$7000USD is the average, in a gallery you will see his work priced closer to $15000USD-$25000USD.
