Dining table seats 4-6 with extendable screw mechanism and 4 castor wheels. Original 8 chairs, two with arms, reupholstered with leather drop in seats. Wood is oak and there is a 10x10cm darker ?cherry? inlay design in the upright of each chair. Whole setting refurbished in 2015 by antique and French Polishing specialists and remains in excellent condition.

Purchased privately in 1970s from elderly neighbour - previous owner assumed it originated in very early 1900s, which for Australia is very old.
