What does this mean?

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.

It is a beautiful and quite unique skirt by British designer David Fielden. Such vintage designer clothes are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
David Fielden is mostly known for his bridal dress designs however he has also made other beautiful creations. This is most probably a unique silk skirt made for a special fashion show or event. It has many details, lovely colours and a great design. I would date the skirt to be between 5-15 years old. From the photos it appears to be in good condition without any signs of wear or tear. If there are any faults or restorations this will decrease the value of the skirt.

I believe that the skirt would attract the attention of both collectors and dealers if it came up for auction.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online fashion clothes auction, where I believe the skirt has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the David Fielden. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
Thank you

Thank you. I figured it was unique because I couldn’t find much info on it. My only question is would it depreciate the value if I looked into getting the missing beading replaced? I’m going to think it over and look into most likely selling it. I appreciate your time and expertise. Hope you have a great day.

My apologies. I misread the part about restoration. Thank you again!
