8’5” long 5’6” approx. end fringe is very worn. Hand Made in Iran (worn tag)

Provenance

Was in my dad’s home for 20+ years. Used i. Dressing room, not high traffic area. Unknow where he got it.

A vintage Persian Hamadan hand-knotted wool carpet
Made in Iran, mid 20th century
In a palette of reds, blues and creams, centering an elongated motif within a hexagonal lozenge, spandrels and outer border with a cream ground, cream selvedges (what's left of them).
5'6" by 8'5"
CONDITION: worn with losses to selvedges
PROVENANCE: inherited from father
