Crown and Anchor game
Vintage Crown and Anchor game with green canvass mat, 3 die and a leather cup with lid and strap. Mat has been folded up for so many years, it is all intact but not in great shape. The dark green mat is 17 inches by 19 inches. All 3 dice are in good shape with the crown, diamond and heart in red and the anchor, spade and club in black. The leather cup is 3 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches in diameter and has a strap to hold the lid in place when transporting.

It is a nice Anchor and crown dice set. Such vintage games are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
The set appears to have been used frequently and has some signs of wear and use to the condition. You often see these dice set at auction, however most often it is the dice alone you see and not as in this case with a box and the mat. These sets were in particular popular in the 20th century. They were made worldwide and in many variations and materials.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online auction, where I believe the dice set has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the Anchor and Crown set. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
