I have 2 Copper Plate "drawings" they each measure 18x24 inches. They are both in Excellent shape One is of the Declaration of Independence and the other is of the territory of Arizona 1880 The front of each is Copper and the back of each is a Black Material
Thanks again for coming to Mearto for your appraisal inquiries. These items appear to be photo-lithographs after the copperplate engravings reproduction of the documents they depict. The original map of the territory of Arizona was produced in 1880, folded and included in book. Because I do not see any creases with the sheet, it is safe to assume this is a reproduction after that folded original print. The second print is of course a reproduction after the original declaration of independence, the original of which is held in National Archives. That print also appears to be a photo-lithographic print. The estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of lithographic reproductions of these documents (as a collection). Thank you and please take care.
