Description

1849 POCKET (.31 CALIBER WITH STAGECOACH SCENE ON CYLINDER)

Provenance

Came down through the family as the 'Pony Express' pistol. Obviously wasn't used by the Pony Express as the Colt serial number indicates it was manufactured in 1862, which is after the Pony Express stopped service. Never been appraised.
