This is an antique, circa 1900, framed color lithograph print. It is a Victorian depiction of the Bible story of Jesus in the Temple with the Elders. This is described in Luke 2:41-52 of the Bible. The story goes that Jesus, his family and an extended group of relatives traveled to Jerusalem on a pilgrimage for Passover. After the family traveled back, they discovered Jesus was not with them. When they returned to Jerusalem, they found him in the Temple speaking with the Elders on their level and who were amazed at his learning. The estimate is based on this being a wall-sized framed color print and on past auction sales of comparables.
