This is the description on the invoice: ANTIQUE CHINESE GUAN YIN FOLDING SCREEN MEASURING 60 INCHES WIDE BY 35.5 INCHES HIGH. THIS GORGEOUS PAINTING ON GOLD LEAF IS FRAMED IN A BEAUTIFUL PATTERNED SILK FABRIC. IT RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL HARDWARE BUT PLEASE NOTE, THERE ARE TWO SMALL BREAKS IN THE GOLD LEAF WOOD SURFACE. NO MISSING PIECES, BARELY NOTICEABLE AND REPAIRABLE. CATEGORY ASIAN

What does this mean?

Dear Juan,

A Chinese folding screen, not a big one from what I can see. Its made for decorative purposes and I believe its vintage, maybe 50 years old. Handpainted on a gilded wood underground. Indeed Guan yin is depicted here on lotus flower. Value is estimated on the decorative value and the work done on the piece. Good place to sell can be a local auction house with a prescription on Invaluable, Lottissimo or any other big auction-marketing platform.
