What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be the decorative part of a table clock, circa 1880s, a bronze group of Alexander the great in full armour with a lion skin on his shoulder The Macedonian kings traditionally wore lion's skin. Several coins with the face of Alexander the Great and a lion´s scalp on his head are known. Next to him a beauty lying on a roman couch or klinē is shown. Aleander´s gladius is missing and there are is some verdigris. The estimate is based on similar decorative fragments offered or sold at auction
