What does this mean?

This is a vintage 20th century, about 1930s, Georgian Revival style buffet done in mahogany veneer. This was manufactured and not hand built. Without a maker tag, stamp or label, the factory which produced this cannot be definitively stated. It is more than likely American made and possibly from Michigan State where many furniture producers were located at that time. There is a drawer for silver flatware and these furniture pieces were intended for a dining room and for serving. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
