Inherited from great aunt who lived in Japan for a period of time during the 1930s. But she also spent much time traveling around the world.
This is a Japanese cloisonne vase with floral design over an interlocking pattern. It may have been made in or around the Meiji period (1868-2912), as these kinds of vases were in style during that time.
