What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a Kerosene Floor Lamp or Piano Lamp, cast and polished brass, onyx table top and knobs, ornately decorated with arabesques, accanthus leaf and foliage, now electrified. The lamp was most likely made by Bradley & Hubbard at the end of the late 19th century. The estimate is based on similar oil or kerosene lamps sold at auction. As always "asking prices" in the trade can be higher and vary.
