What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. According to your description this appears to be the figurine "siddende dreng" by Bing & Grøndahl, model number 1669, approx 18cm tall according to other descriptions of this mysterious statue. Apparently no other identical figurine was offered or sold in the past few years. This might be a very rare porcelain figurine, but in general the demand for Bing & Grondahl is not as high as for example Rosenthal or other major porcelain manufacturers. The estimate is based on auction results of similar rare Bing & Grondahl figurines. This is a very tentative estimate, a dedicated collector might be willing to pay more.
