This painting was created with thick smooth paintbrush stoaks, with matching colors that are found in many of Edward Hopper paintings. This painting is also in somewhat good condition for its age.
To my knowledge, this painting has never been exhibited and may have been in storage for many years. This painting was purchased in a small shop located in a small college town in the USA.
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
I'm quite familiar with Edward Hopper's work and while the colors are similar, that's not enough to base an attribution on...any expert would require more substantial proof. The value is based on its artistic merit rather than attribution to any artist's hand.
