This appears to be a hungarian painting, depicting a man wearing hungarian folk costume sitting on the shore of lake Balaton holding a fishing rod, oil on wood panel, signed lower right Borsody, B. and dated (18) 89. Unfortunately the hungarian artist B.Borsody is not listed. It is an authentic antique painting in the original wood and gesso gold colour painted frame. The estimate is based on similar decorative paintings sold at auction. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to it.
