What does this mean?

Dear Tony,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.

The presented object appears to be an Armand Marseille baby doll with sleeping eyes that are lost. The porcelain head is marked “A.M.Germany 551/3/4" regarding the information given by the customer. This is the Marseille My Dream Baby doll with the model number 551 made in the middle of the 1920s.
This piece is in damaged condition because of the loss of the eyes.
A fair market estimation would be between 30 to 60 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.

With kind regards,
Georg
