The painting itself measures 33.5" x 16" with a 2" frame around it. I do not see a signature on the piece. However there is what looks like the letter "C" in the bottom left corner. There is also some writing on the back, top right, but it is too faint to make out. The only thing I can make out in the writing is a capital "B". It needs to be cleaned. On the back is a stamp of $3.50. Perhaps what the original painting board cost?
I inherited this from a friend who inherited it in 1990 from a friend of hers who passed away at 104 years old.
