Cabinet came from a former dentist office in Bardstown Kentucky possibly in mid to late 1800's. Cabinet is two pieces, along with a marble slab. Total of 17 drawers, has beveled glass mirror and two of the drawers are lined on the inside with felt. Measures are as follows: Approximate measurements - Width of the marble base is 30 1/2 x 18 1/2 Cabinet Base is 28 3/4" x 18 1/4" x 31 1/2" to the top of the marble Cabinet Top is 34 1/2" x 29" x 31 1/2"
Acquired from the family whose great grandfather was the town dentist in Bardstown Kentucky back in early 1900's.

A Victorian carved walnut and marble dentist's double cabinet
American, mid 19th Century
In two pieces, the set-back upper section with ornate carved and scrolling crest over two short drawers with incised fronts over a recessed mirror, flanked by glazed cabinet doors opening to a shelved interior on the left and a stack of 12 graduated short drawers on the right, the lower section with a rectangular marble top over a corresponding case fitted with a shallow over deep green baize-lined long drawers over two short drawers and a cabinet door, all on short straight legs.
Width of the marble base is 30 1/2 by 18 1/2 inches
Cabinet Base: is 31 1/2 inches high by 28 3/4" wide by 18 1/4" deep
Cabinet Top is 34 1/2" x 29" x 31 1/2"
CONDITION: wear appears to be good and commensurate with age and use.
