Its a bayonet with serial number on one side of handle "31848" and the letter "H" on other side. Sword dimensions are blade 15"x7/8", handle dimensions are 5 1/8"x 1". Handle is made of wood and metal. Looks very old. Found in Pearl Harbor on Oahu in the mid.
