The appraised work appears to be an oil on canvas paintings possibly executed by British artist Thomas Sidney Cooper (1803-1902). The painting depicts a groups of bovines and sheep huddled together near a group of trees in the foreground, with other animals visible in the background. Cooper was born in Canterbury and is known for bucolic landscapes with cattle and sheep. After working as a carriage and theater painter, he studied at at the Royal Academy in London, where he was especially encouraged by portrait painter Sir Thomas Lawrence.
