What does this mean?

Hi Timothy,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
I've done a fairly rigorous search and can't find any comparable figures for a maker attribution; "Antimonio" was not a maker, probably an earlier owner.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

A set of six cast and painted iron or spelter Orientalist entertainer figures
early 20th Century
Depicting five Orientalist or Middle-eastern style seated musician and a kneeling snake charmer on a rug with a coiled cobra in front of him. One later inscribed "ANTIMONIO" underneath the rug
Each approximately 3 inc hes tall
CONDITION: some pitting and paint loss visible throughout.
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
